PAUL H. LOEFFLER

Paul H. Loeffler has been a principal of the firm since its formation in 1980, and was an associate with its predecessor firm, Herzog & Bisogno, prior to that time.  Before becoming associated with the firm, Mr. Loeffler was Law Secretary to the Honorable Michael R. Imbriani in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Somerset County.  He is admitted to appear before the United States Supreme Court, the New Jersey Supreme and Superior Courts, the New York Court of Appeals and Supreme Courts and the United States District Courts for the District of New Jersey and the Third District of New York.

Mr. Loeffler’s practice is largely focused in Family Law matters, including matrimonial dissolution (divorce), parental rights, domestic violence, juvenile delinquency and prenuptial agreements.  He has been approved by the Superior Court of New Jersey as a Matrimonial Mediator.  Mr. Loeffler’s practice also includes general Civil Litigation, Estate Litigation, DWI and other Municipal Court matters, Real Estate and Wills, Trusts and Estates.  He also serves as a Pro Bono attorney for Legal Services of Northwest Jersey.

Mr. Loeffler is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the Somerset County Bar Association.  He has held numerous positions within the NJSBA, and currently serves as the Somerset County representative on the Judicial and Prosecutorial Nominations Committee.  He is a past SCBA President and has held many positions within the SCBA and its various committees.  In 1998, Mr. Loeffler was honored with the Professionalism Award for Somerset County by the New Jersey Commission on Professionalism in the Law.

Mr. Loeffler is a graduate of St. Joseph’s High School in Metuchen and the College of Holy Cross, and received his law degree from Albany Law School in 1973.  He is a lifelong New Jersey resident, originally hailing from South Plainfield.  He is married, with three children.

Mr. Loeffler is an avid sports fan and has coached numerous youth league basketball teams.
